The mother-of-one made her return to the small screen in Eli Stone wearing a sultry skin-tight catsuit and long gloves.
However, away from the cameras, Katie is back in skinny jeans and comfy jumpers.
She was snapped in New York wearing an oversized stripy jumper with her jeans while taking a break from Broadway where she is starring in Arthur Miller's play All My Sons.
Katie's relaxed style obviously hasn't rubbed off on her daughter Suri, who is one of the best dressed kids in Hollywood.
The toddler is staying with her mum in New York and has been photographed around town wearing a series of cute little dresses. But like any fashion-loving girl, Suri seems to have a soft spot for gold ballet pumps.
