Becoming a judge on the X Factor may have gone to Cheryl Cole's head, as the 25-year-old enlisted the help of an umbrella-carrier recently to protect her hair despite the fact that both of her hands were free.
The Girls Aloud star arrived in rainy Cardiff for the first-round auditions dressed in a pair of tiny grey shorts and a white blouse, with immaculate hair and make-up.
Naturally Chezza didn't want to mess up her perfect appearance by getting rained on, but most of us don't need to call on a burly minder to carry a brolly for us.
Fan Lucy Rider, 19, told the Daily Mail: "I couldn't believe when I saw her walking in with someone else holding her umbrella for her.
"Her umbrella-holder was really careful to make sure she didn't get a drop on her. I think she's a bit more of a diva than I gave her credit for - I think a couple of years ago she could have managed to carry her own brolly!"
