Modelling is a cruel world and girls are replaced as quickly as they come in, so it comes as no surprise that Kate Moss is getting a bit huffy at the prospect of being upstaged by her younger, fresher nemesis Agyness Deyn.
Not only has 25-year-old Agy snapped up a number of lucrative fashion contracts that may have once been lined up for Kate, but the young blonde is also pursuing one of Kate's biggest dreams, to be a musician.
Frustrated rocker Kate tried duetting with her ex-boyf Pete Doherty before they split, but didn't meet much success.
However down-to-earth Agy, who started life by working in a fish and chip shop, is releasing a single with New York band Five O'Clock Heroes.
A friend of Kate's told the Daily Mail: "Kate can't stand her. It's not about Agy's personality, but what she represents. She's younger, fresher, everyone loves her and she's got everything ahead of her.
"Now she's singing with a band, something Kate has wanted to do for years. Kate's 34 now and she realises her days as a model are numbered. Everyone's calling Agy the new Kate Moss - and that hurts."
