Sugababe Keisha Buchanan has said that the band's chart rivals Girls Aloud are better known for their celebrity status than for their music.
Dress-loving Keisha is the only original member of the Sugababes and has been in the group now for 12 years.
She said that she has seen a lot of changes during her time in the pop industry but insists that the Sugababes will carry on being successful because their focus is on the music "and not necessarily being the flavour of the month".
Speaking to Radio 1, Keisha said: "Now it's all about being a celebrity and having the music at the same time. We're not that kind of band.
"With Girls Aloud, they've come from a reality TV show and it's a lot more about being a celebrity. The public persona of theirs is definitely a lot bigger than Sugababes."
