Mariah 'waited until marriage' for sex with Nick

Mariah Carey has revealed that she waited until after she was married to have sex with her husband Nick Cannon.

The couple met in February but they waited for two months until after their April wedding in the Bahamas to consummate their relationship.

And the lingerie-loving diva says that the decision was well worth it as she recently celebrated her six-month anniversary to Nick and says she has never been happier.

Mariah, who performed her new single I Stay in Love on Saturday night's X Factor, explained to the Mirror: "It's not that we had no intimacy, we just didn't have complete intimacy.

"I definitely don't want to push it on anybody else but we both have similar beliefs and I just thought that it would be so much more special if we waited until after we were married. And it was and it still is."
