Kylie Minogue has revealed that she would like to return to acting and focus on comedy in particular.
The 40-year-old pint-sized star is best known as a pop princess, but of course she started her career with a dodgy 80s barnet and even dodgier wardrobe playing Charlene in the Aussie soap Neighbours.
Since then, Kylie has mercifully improved her dress-sense and enjoyed phenomenal success in her musical career, but she now says that she would like to go back to her dramatic roots.
Kyles guest starred in a Christmas episode of the BBC sci-fi show Doctor Who last year, so perhaps she was just giving us a taste of things to come.
"Recording and being a performer, thankfully that's gone really well, but now I'm starting to think again about acting," she said.
"It's not that well known that I'm funny, but I am funny. People who know me will tell you."
