Pussycat Doll Melody Thornton has confessed that when she was growing up she dreamed of being a nun.
The holy aspiration is a far cry from the American girl group's raunchy image.
Instead of wearing a habit, Melody and the other girls frequently appear on stage wearing tiny shorts and skirts teamed with fishnets and PVC boots.
Melody told The Sun: "I used to watch these movies about people who really devote their lives to charity in someway or bettering the world, devoting themselves to serve God or a common purpose."
However when the pop star realised that she could sing, she decided to try and use her fame for good, citing Angelina Jolie as an inspiration.
When naughty Melody's fellow Doll Ashley Roberts joked that she could still be a nun if she wanted to, the blonde replied cheekily: "I can't actually. I've done too many things."
