You wouldn't think that Madonna would be the jealous type but sources close to the singer claim that she was haunted by the fear that Guy Ritchie was still in love with his ex-girlfriend.
Guy was dating the model Tania Strecker - a 6ft blonde with 37 inch legs - when he met Madonna.
Apparently the 50-year-old queen of pop never got over her paranoia that Guy secretly preferred Tania (35), who had previously dated pop star Robbie Williams.
A source told the Sun: "Madonna took Guy from Tania, but never really trusted him that he loved her for herself.
"Today she's consumed by the fear that Guy was more interested in her for her money and that - if it hadn't been for her fortune - he'd have stayed with Tania rather than marry her."
In 2001 the Danish model hinted that she had continued to see Ritchie once he started dating Madge.
