Lily: I thought Mark Ronson was gay

Mark Ronson will probably be none too impressed when he hears what his friend and musical collaborator Lily Allen has been saying about him.

Although the dishy superproducer has acquired something of a reputation as a ladies' man after romancing London beauties such as model Daisy Lowe, Lily confessed recently that when she first met Mark she thought he was gay.

In a US interview, dress-loving Lily told Paper: "I met Mark at a club night in London called YOYO. I thought he was cute, but assumed he was gay.

"I remember being shocked when I was introduced to his girlfriend at the time."

Mark, whose DJ sister Samantha is dating Hollywood hottie Lindsay Lohan, worked with Lily on her debut album Alright, Still.

He will collaborate with her again on her next album, rumoured to be titled It's Not You It's Me, which is due for release in February.
