Heat magazine has apologised to Peaches Geldof over previous reports that she chose to marry the Chester French musician Max Drummey in order to get a US visa.
The celebrity gossip magazine has in fact stated that these reports were false and that the hope of getting a US visa was not the reason behind Peaches' decision to marry the 24-year-old.
Peaches did not decide to marry Max in order to get into the States, the magazine has said, and it has apologised to Sir Bob's daughter for any embarrassment that the reports may have caused.
In a recent interview, the 19-year-old DJ spoke about her love for new hubbie Max and her reasons for deciding to tie the knot.
"It was one of those old-fashioned things. If you find the right person, you don't want to let it go. I fell in love and it felt completely right," Peaches told Now magazine.
"We were like: 'Let's just do this because it's romantic and we're young and let's be free.'"
