Billie Piper has given birth to her first child, a baby boy, and her ex-husband Chris Evans was one of the first to congratulate her on her brand new bundle of joy.
The 26-year-old Secret Diary of a Call Girl star's new husband, Laurence Fox, told reporters outside Portland Hospital in London, said that his wife was happy to be a mum.
Speaking of his baby son, Laurence said: "He is beautiful. He is sweet. It was an emergency Caesarean.
"I'm tired but not as tired as her, no doubt. It was long and hard. She was in labour for more than 24 hours."
He added that Billie would be staying in hospital overnight in her nightwear but vowed to stay with her for the length of it.
Meanwhile Chris showed up at the hospital for a quick visit clutching a mystery present, which he informed the press was a toy tractor.
He revealed that the little boy's name is Winston James Fox and that he hoped to be made a godparent.
