Hollywood actress Scarlett Johansson has married her fiance Ryan Reynolds in an unusually low-key ceremony.
The gorgeous 23-year-old announced her engagement to the 31-year-old Canadian actor in May, but no details about the timing or the venue of the wedding were revealed.
Now it has emerged that the Lost in Translation star tied the knot in her new husband's home country of Canada, in a small resort just outside Vancouver, British Columbia.
Scarlett's publicist, Meredith O'Sullivan, confirmed the reports.
The beautiful blonde said earlier this year that she is a private person and that she wanted her wedding to be as private as possible.
Despite her warning, the wedding is likely to have taken many people by surprise as Scarlett said last month that she was in no rush to walk down the aisle.
"We're just enjoying our time," the actress said, according to the Associated Press.
"You know, we're just taking it easy and no big plan yet. I mean, I'm 23. There's no reason to rush into it. Everything feels very natural and relaxed."
