Is the Robster a recluse?

Friends of has-been pop star Robbie Williams claim that he is becoming reclusive in Los Angeles and is rarely seen out.

Cheeky Robster, who was known for his charismatic charm during his hey-day, relocated to LA some years back after his Rudebox album was ridiculed, and at first he was just as lively as he had been in the UK.

Sources say that the former member of Take That was a regular on the LA club scene, but in recent months has tended to stay at home for long stretches of time with his girlfriend Ayda Field.

A mate told the Daily Star: "I haven't seen Robbie for ages. The last time I did, he was sporting an awful Robinson Crusoe-style beard and looked as if he hadn't had a bath in days."

Another pal said: "Perhaps it's just that Robbie is so in love with Ayda he hasn't got time for clubs any more."
