A gal's 25th birthday party should be a night to remember, but poor old Amy Winehouse spent hers stuck indoors because she felt too ugly to go out, according to reports.
The hell-raising Back to Black star is not normally one to turn down a booze-up, so her friends including Mark Ronson, Adele and her mum Janis were surprised when she didn't turn up.
The celebs were left stranded at the Jazz After Dark bar in London's Soho on Saturday night when the singer snubbed the surprise party that her friend Remi Nicole had painstakingly organised for her.
But according to reports, Ames refused to show because she felt insecure about her bad skin.
A friend told the Sun: "Amy was standing in front of the mirror telling everyone how rough she looked. Unfortunately her lifestyle has had a major affect on her appearance and it's only just started to sink in.
"She kept saying she was ugly and was in an awful state. They couldn't get her out."
