Some of the biggest names in hip-hop were involved in a dramatic shootout at a club in Atlanta this weekend.
Rap mogul and Janet Jackson's beau Jermaine Dupri held a party at Dreamz ATL on Saturday, but the fun turned sour when shots were fired at 3:30 in the morning.
Guests including Nelly, Usher and P Diddy dived for cover after party-goers fired at door staff who tried to keep members of the public separate from the VIPs.
Troublemakers were taken outside by bouncers just before the shots were heard, with one doorman hit in the arm and taken to hospital.
Dupri refused to let the incident ruin the evening and once the chaos died down he insisted that everyone get back to the task at hand having a good time.
"I'm sad this incident happened because it interrupted a beautiful and loving party. But I'm happy none of my people or friends got hurt. And the party continues," he told People in a statement.
Diddy is no stranger to gun crime having lost his friend and musical collaborator Notorious BIG in a shooting in 1997.
