Anybody who's ever been kept waiting by Mariah Carey - and that's probably a lot of people - can take small comfort from the fact that she says she's always been that way.
The 38-year-old star has a notorious reputation for being a diva, getting people to run around her and making unreasonable demands.
But Mariah says she doesn't mean to come across that way – she just has extremely poor time-keeping skills.
Chatting to gossip website Absolute Now she said: "I always run at least half an hour late. I am such a bad timekeeper. I don't know how I always manage to do it but I do. I try my best but it doesn't bother me that I can't keep time."
Well we're glad it doesn't bother you Mariah.
She added that her new hubby Nick Cannon was trying to improve his wife's tardiness.
"Nick has been trying to keep me in check," she said.
