Mark Ronson has cleared up rumours that he once turned down Joss Stone, saying that the story was falsely interpreted in the press.
Superproducer Mark has worked with stars including Lily Allen and Amy Winehouse, so naturally a recent interviewer at a Holland radio station wanted to know if he had bedded any of his protegees.
Modest Mark said that he had had plenty of offers but had turned a lot of babes down because he's "very picky".
He added: "I've said no to a very famous, white, bland and very boring English soul chick, whom shall remain unnamed."
Unsurprisingly, this was interpreted to mean Joss Stone, but Mark has now addressed the rumours saying that it wasn't her he was referring to.
Writing on his MySpace blog, Ronson said: "There's some story going around saying that I refused the sexual advances of Joss Stone and also said she was some 'boring, bland soul chick' or something.
"Let me set the record straight. I was definitely not referring to Joss Stone in that quote and I've never actually met her. I'm sure she's a nice person and she has a lovely voice so I wanted to address this rubbish story and apologise to Ms Stone."
