New X Factor judge Cheryl Cole celebrated her 25th birthday today with a special cake from her footballer husband.
The reported love rat has been busy making things up to Cheryl over the past few months after claims he cheated on the Girls Aloud singer with a hairdresser.
However, the couple looked the picture of happiness as they held hands in Manchester this morning.
The Daily Mail snapped the two – without their wedding rings – at the luxury Raddison hotel in the centre of the city where Cheryl has been filming episodes of the X Factor.
After surprising her on tour by filling her dressing room with flowers and balloons earlier this month, Ash was keen to make his Mrs's birthday an event to remember.
As well as jetting into Manchester for the day, the England and Chelsea star organised for a special cake to be delivered to the hotel.
The black and white treat was shaped like a makeup bag and matching handbag – very romantic.
