Emma Watson is to be the new face of Chanel's perfume Coco Mademoiselle.
The 18-year-old Harry Potter star has won a two-year contract worth £3 million to promote the fragrance.
She takes over from fellow British actress Keira Knightley, whose contract with the French fashion house ends this summer.
A source told the Daily Mail: "She has been slowly integrated into the Chanel brand. Once it became clear she is growing into a beautiful young woman and wears the Chanel brand so elegantly, they had to sign her up."
Emma, who plays Hermione in the Harry Potter films, landed the deal after signing up with top modelling agency Storm in an attempt to branch out from acting.
The actress, who's said to be worth £8 million, became a household name when she was just nine years old.
Meanwhile, reports say that Keira, 23, will have a new role within Chanel after her Coco Mademoiselle contract expires.
The slim Atonement star took over promoting the fragrance in 2006, succeeding Kate Moss who was dumped over her alleged cocaine abuse.
