Sexy 27-year-old singer Ashanti has refused to confirm that she is dating the rapper Nelly but hinted that a bling wedding may soon be on the cards.
The 33-year-old Hot In Here hit-maker has been romantically linked to Ashanti for years but the secretive pair have never 'fessed up about their relationship.
When asked in a recent interview whether Nelly had popped the question, Ashanti help up a bare left hand and replied: "Oh no. Noooo! No engagement. But definitely in the future. Ha ha!"
Talk about leaving us in the lurch!
She added to People magazine: "Me and Nelly, we're good friends. We kick it - hang out a lot. The industry is very hard, so it's good to have fun and lighten it up."
It isn't the first time that the pair have been rumoured to be engaged.
There were reports earlier this year that the couple were planning to tie the knot but they later turned out to be false.
