A court as heard that Amy Winehouse's jealous incarcerated hubby Blake Fielder-Civil offered another prisoner £20,000 to beat up Pete Doherty.
Blake, who is awaiting trial for attacking a bar man and then offering a bribe to cover it up, reportedly feared that the Babyshambles front-man was having an affair with his wife and wanted him out of the picture.
A jury at the Old Bailey heard that a prisoner was offered the large sum of money "to cause damage" to Pete.
Pete and Amy have grown increasingly close in recent months, with the 29-year-old rocker paying the singer a series of late night visits at her Camden home.
However Amy has promised that she has stayed faithful to Blake and is rumoured to be planning on renewing her wedding vows while he is in jail.
