Rihanna to 'take it easy' in 2008

Rihanna has said that she does not intend to work as hard this year as she did in 2007 as she wants to enjoy herself.

The 20-year-old Umbrella hit-maker had a manic year with her immense success, but claims that she was constantly exhausted due to her punishing schedule.

She admits that she could hardly even take in her Grammy night success for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration as she was so tired.

Rihanna explained: "I already told everyone in my camp, 'This year, I'm not going to work like a horse.'

"In 2007 I didn't really get to enjoy anything that I achieved, because I was moving, moving, moving."

She added that when her mentor Jay-Z inquired about her state of mind, she was unable to give him a response.

"Jay was asking me, `How does it feel?' I was like, 'When I get home and I lock my room and there's silence, I'll tell you how I feel then,'" she said.
