Gwyneth Paltrow has solved the mystery of how to walk in high heels by employing a bodyguard for balance.
The actress was spotted leaving a restaurant in Paris yesterday lunchtime and leaning on her six-foot bodyguard for support.
Wearing a simple black dress and demure black rain coat, the blonde star brighten up her somber outfit with a pair of tan ankle boots - complete with a six-inch heel.
Instead of packing a pair of ballet pumps into her oversized leather handbag, the star kept up her glamorous look by reaching out for a helping hand to negotiate a set of tricky steps.
According to the Daily Mail, Paltrow wore the boots for a lunch date with friends at the Hotel Costes.
She is currently in Paris to promote her new film Iron Man which also stars Robert Downey Jr and Samuel L Jackson.
