Jessica Simpson is not exactly known for her intellect, so forgive us for being a little surprised when she said she wanted to do a theology course.
The actress-turned-country singer, who infamously sported a pair of teeny denim shorts in her movie The Dukes of Hazzard, said that she has been thinking a lot about religion lately.
Perhaps it is the fact that her little sister Ashlee has recently become a mum, but Jess is becoming much more philosophical nowadays.
But she seems to have based her new found passion for all things Godly on a rather questionable source.
"I've been contemplating taking a college course in religion," the busty blonde told Marie Claire.
"I love religion. I remember when the book The Da Vinci Code came out, the Discovery Channel did this three-night piece on it that I recorded and then watched eight times."
