Jen says John is a "rare one"

Jennifer Aniston has spoken candidly about her admiration for her "extraordinary" boyfriend John Mayer.

The pair split briefly earlier this year but soon began dating again and now Jen has gushed about her new man in a recent interview.

Speaking to the Daily Mirror, denim-loving Jen raved about how inspiring it was to be going out with a musician.

"He's a rare one. The way his brain works and the way he thinks thoughts... it's beautiful. I don't know many musicians but when his guitar is on him it's just like a channel," she said.

Jen also said that she doesn't understand why everyone keeps banging on about her split from Brad Pitt in 2005.

She said: "I'm baffled by it and it makes no sense to me. Everybody goes through tough times... you've just got to figure out how to get through them."
