Laura White is favourite to win this year's X-Factor.
The 21-year-old northerner is the bookies favourite to take the top spot with the help of celebrity judge and mentor Cheryl Cole.
William Hill have declared Laura the hottest favourite in the history of the programme with odds of 7/2.
"We are confident that Laura is going to win at a canter," said Hill's spokesman Rupert Adams.
And it looks as if Cheryl is pretty confident that Laura can go all the way. On Saturday's show, the Girls Aloud singer picked her finalists.
As well as picking Laura, Cheryl also named 17-year-old Diana Vickers and 19-year-old Londoner Alexandra Burke.
Breaking the news to Laura, Cheryl said: "You know I've loved you from day one. I've watched you progress. I think you are amazing. You're going to have to be in the final three."
Girls Aloud bandmate Kimberly Walsh joined Cheryl at a luxury villa in Cannes to pick her final three. Louis Walsh had help from Westlife's Shane to pick the groups and Dannii Minogue whisked in celebrity pal Emma Bunton to help with the over 25s.
Simon Cowell will be taking care of this year's boys and – with help from Sinitta – put Scot Bruton, Austin Drage and Eoghan Quigg in to the TV final.
