Being beautiful isn't easy for Ange

Angelina Jolie is a victim of her own good looks, veteran actor Clint Eastwood has said.

The 78-year-old cowboy said that being as beautiful as Angelina can often get in the way of the best acting jobs.

Speaking at the New Yorker Festival this weekend, he explained that people don't often look below the surface and tend to judge the mother of six by her stunning features.

"She is an actress hampered by her gorgeous face, I think the most beautiful face on the planet," he told Us magazine.

"People sometimes can't see past that, to her talent. She's on all these magazine covers so it's easy to overlook what an amazing actress is underneath."

Not one to let her good looks get her down, Angelina was out on the red carpet in full force later on in the weekend.

The actress made her first red carpet appearance since giving birth to twins at the premier of her new film Changeling, which has conveniently been directed by Eastwood.
