Nadine Coyle has opened up about her relationship with the gorgeous actor Jesse Metcalfe, saying that she regrets her attitude towards his battle with alcohol addiction.
The 23-year-old Girls Aloud star dated the Desperate Housewives hunk on and off for 18 months, but the pair eventually split for good last year.
At the time, Jesse (28) was painted as a villain in the media because it was rumoured that he had cheated on her but it later emerged that he was going through a rough time in rehab with his alcoholism.
Nadine has now admitted that she felt too young to deal with his problems, but that she has fond memories of the time they spent together.
She told Now: "I blocked it out of my life and decided not to be a part of it and that's wrong. That's not something you should do if you love somebody.
"I regretted being so selfish about it and so dismissive of him genuinely having a problem."
