Madonna put in a surprise appearance at the premiere of hubby Guy Ritchie's new movie RocknRolla last night, defying rumours that their marriage is in trouble.
But the 50-year-old Material Girl obviously didn't want to steal all the limelight from her less famous hubby.
Guy spent an hour on the red carpet of Leicester Square's Odeon West End in London signing autographs and working the crowds and Madge rolled up just minutes before the film began to pose for pics with her director husband.
However Guy couldn't completely avoid questions about his personal life.
Asked what he did to make his marriage work during the tough times, he replied: "You've just got to love your wife. Is that boring enough?"
He was also questioned about the book, Life with My Sister Madonna, written by the pop star's brother Christopher Ciccone, in which Guy is criticised.
The film-maker said he hadn't read it, but when informed that it was proving very popular he replied sarcastically: "Apparently, she's very popular. She's going to be big."
