Kelly says people are surprised by her intelligence

Kelly Brook has revealed that most people are surprised by how clever she is when they meet her.

The 28-year-old former Big Breakfast presenter, who recently split from fiance Billy Zane, says that her dippy on-air persona is just an act and that she is actually a deep thinker.

She explained: "People are always surprised at how deep I am and how sincere I can be because I always pretend to be silly and giggly on TV."

We're sure that Kel's new man, rugby star Danny Cipriani, will be delighted to find out about his new girlfriend's intelligence.

Kelly also revealed that her biggest fear in the world is spiders and said that her similarly arachnophobic friend calls the gas man whenever she needs an eight-legged nasty to be removed from her bathtub.
