Eva: I was a terrible wife

Despite claiming that she is the perfect little housewife now, Eva Longoria has said that the first time she got married, she was a nightmare.

The 33-year-old Desperate Housewives star was wed to General Hospital star Tyler Christopher in 2002, but their marriage only lasted for two years.

But kind-hearted Eva said recently that she has no bitterness about her failed marriage and explained that she just wasn't ready.

"He was a lovely man, but I was very young," she said.

"I didn't know who I was, and I was still struggling as an actor. I was a terrible wife."

Now the Latino beauty has found marital bliss with US basketball star Tony Parker, who she married in July last year.

Eva added that she feels "secure, solid and safe" in her new marriage and is happy to know that Tony and she have chosen each other for the rest of their lives.
