Hollywood starlets Lindsay Lohan and Britney Spears have found a defender in the unlikely shape of Dolly Parton.
The buxom Nine to Five singer leapt to the defence of the troubled pair at a recent concert at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles.
Dolly has obviously been startled by the constant media hounding received by young Hollywood stars.
According to imnotobsessed.com, she told the audience: "Poor little Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan. Ain't it awful?
"If those little girls slept with as many men as they say in the tabloids, why their little butts would have more fingerprints than the FBI!"
Dolly, who is known for her impressive bust as well as her legendary country music career, later joked about some of her fans wearing T-shirts bearing the slogan Dolly for President.
She said: "I think there have been enough boobs in the White House."
