Apparently Kate Moss recently splashed out £20,000 on plush new carpets for her house…but that still didn't stop her boyfriend Jamie Hince from getting itchy feet and moving on.
According to secret sources, The Kills star Jamie has very sensitive feet and was always grumbling about how rough the rush matting floor was whenever he stayed over at his supermodel girlfriend Kate's house.
So Kate kindly went and re-fitted the whole house with deep pile snow carpets, only to find that Jamie upped and left just four weeks later!
A source told the Mirror: "Kate spent a small fortune redecorating. Jamie loved the new look and was really touched by her efforts. But, sadly, that didn't stop him from packing his bags and leaving a few weeks later.
"Let's just say that after spending all the money, Kate wasn't thrilled by the sudden turn of events."
