If Heather Mills had any hopes of winning over the British public, it looks like she is fighting a losing battle.
The charity campaigner, who famously won a £24.3 million settlement in her divorce from former Beatle Sir Paul McCartney earlier this year, has become so "impossible", according to her former publicist Michele Elyzabeth, that she has had to quit her job.
Michele has worked for Heather for the past four years but says that she "cannot take anymore".
After a "heated argument" with the model, Michele said that she quit and can now see why the public's perception of Heather is like it is.
"After working for Heather Mills for four years, I have decided to cease representing her. Since her divorce has become final, in my opinion, Heather has become an impossible person," Michele told US TV show Extra.
"We engaged in a heated argument during which she called me 'stupid'. On reflection and given the way I have been treated, I now have sympathy with much of what has been reported about her."
