Gwen Stefani has given hope to all of us by saying that she was the fat girl in school.
The super-svelte singer, who is currently expecting her second child with hubby Gavin Rossdale, explained that she was a bit of a chubster when she was a teenager, but she managed to do regular exercise and win her weight battle.
She told OK! magazine: "I got on the swim team and I was determined not to be that chubby girl any more. Ever since then I've been able to control it, but it sucks. Nowadays I just try to realise how stupid it is, because nobody cares - except me!"
Gwen added: "I was never really a shy person, but during those teenage years you always have your insecurities, and I can remember feeling not too happy with the way I looked, wanting not to be fat."
Well Gwennie, you're certainly looking gorge now!
