Charlize Theron has said that she will never get married, despite being blissfully in love with long-term boyf Stuart Townsend.
Poor old Charl has a somewhat bad impression of marriage after she saw the violent relationship endured by her own parents.
Charl's mum shot her abusive father on the family's small farm in South Africa when she was just 15 years old and the star says that as a result she has never put marriage and happiness together.
The Oscar-winning star told Elle: "I believe in love but I don't believe in marriage. I saw my mother unhappy every day. What happened with my father was extreme. Back then if a woman was unhappy, she just had to put up with it.
"As a kid I didn't dream about my wedding day because I knew marriage wasn't exactly the stuff of dreams."
Charl also admitted that she doesn't have hang-ups about her body because when she looks in the mirror she thinks she looks "pretty hot".
Too right girl!
