Most millionaire footie fellas might be worried about tying the knot without taking the precaution of drawing up a pre-nup, but not romantic Wayne Rooney.
We hear that Wayne and Coleen, who recently got married, did not bother with a pre-nup because they think the idea is "terribly unromantic" and they didn't want their special day to be overshadowed by a legal document.
A friend told the Daily Mail: "Wayne and Coleen have had their problems along the way but they married because they love each other and it's as simple as that. Wayne thinks he's the luckiest boy in the world to be with Coleen."
Too right he is Coleen rakes in millions in her own right through her book deal, Coke sponsorship and magazine column, so she's worth plenty without Wayne.
The friend added: "It never occurred to him that he should think about protecting his assets. He's quite old-fashioned about things and thinks what's his is now hers."
