Sarah Jessica Parker has finally admitted that there was some tension over her Sex and the City co-star Kim Cattrall's decision to refuse taking part in the movie.
Feisty Samantha's ways have obviously rubbed off on the 51-year-old actress as Kim held out on agreeing to a film because she has admitted she did not think she was being offered enough cash.
SJP, who is the producer as well as the lead actress in the series, has confessed that she was gutted when Kim said no, but says that the movie could never be the same without her.
Chatting to Metro, she said: "You have to respect a persons decision. Were we disappointed? Yes. But would I, as a producer, have made the movie without her? No.
"A person has to be allowed to say 'no' to a movie. It was important to me that we all be together, and we told a story everybody wanted to tell. I could not wait to send the first email to Kim to say: 'We have a green light. We are making this movie and I will see you at the table read.'"
