So we are very excited at the news that Jennifer Aniston has taken her new man John Mayer to meet her friends.
Yes, those friends. The 39-year-old blonde drove down to Miami with her 30-year-old toy-boy for a cosy stay at the beach house of her bessy mate and former Friends co-star Courteney Cox and her hubby David Arquette.
The foursome enjoyed a dinner date while Courts got the opportunity to give her mate's new bloke the once over.
Apparently John was a tad nervous about the rendezvous because Courts is so protective of Jen and stood by her when she was hurt by Brad Pitt.
A pal told the National Enquirer: "John's a bit uneasy about it - it's like meeting your lover's mom for the first time.
"Jen laughs and tells him Courteney just wants to pinch and poke the product!"
