Girls Aloud 'jealousy' over Cheryl's X factor role

Oh dear…there seems to be trouble in girl group paradise.

We hear that Cheryl Cole's Girls Aloud band-mates are suffering from a touch of the green-eyed monster after it emerged she will replace Sharon Osbourne as a judge on hit talent show The X Factor.

Apparently, Nadine, Sarah, Kimbers and Nicola think they all should have been given the chance to forge a TV career and are a tad jealous of the opportunity that has been offered to Cheryl.

A source told Heat: "The other girls are very put out that Cheryl has landed the judging role. They knew she really wanted it, but some of them found the news hard to handle, especially Nadine.

"At the end of the day, all the girls are talented, but Nadine has got the best voice and as it's a singing contest she should be the one for the job."
