It was a case of Baby one More Time this morning for the Spears family, as they welcomed a new addition to the clan.
Jamie Lynn Spears, who is one of the biggest stars of American kids' TV, and her partner Casey Aldridge were celebrating the birth of their daughter in a Mississippi hospital today.
The pair have decided to call their first child Maddie Briann.
Jamie Lynn's family were on hand to offer support for the couple. "Everyone is healthy and happy," a source told Hello!.
Big sister Britney was also in attendance to congratulate the 17-year-old starlet.
Brit has endured difficult times in recent months, having lost custody of her own children to ex-partner Kevin Federline.
In the US Jamie Lynn is most famous for playing the main character in Nickelodeon series Zoey 101. She has followed in the footsteps of former child star Britney - though all will be hoping that she stays on the rails, unlike her troubled sister.
