Hollywood actress Gwyneth Paltrow has revealed that she was once given a private cookery lesson with British celebrity chef Jamie Oliver as a birthday present.
The 35-year-old Iron Man actress, who currently lives in London with her Coldplay front-man husband Chris Martin and their two children, said that she had only met Jamie in passing before the lesson.
Having learned a whole range of cooking tips and recipes, Gwyneth now says that it was an excellent experience.
The Oscar-winning actress revealed: "I was given a cookery lesson with Jamie one birthday, which was the best. He came to the house and brought everything with him.It was phenomenal. He's such a great guy."
Dishing out a few of the lessons she learned, Gwyneth added: "Making your own pasta is definitely worth it. You can do a really nice cheese and walnut sauce. Toast walnuts in oil, add dolcelatte and a bit of cream, some Parmesan cheese and butter and stir it up."
