Geri Halliwell has revealed that she once asked out Jamie Theakston but he turned her down for being too short.
The dashing DJ has dated tall women including Eron O'Connor and Joely Richardson in the past and the petite 5ft 2in Spice Girl admitted recently that she was attracted to the 6ft 4in presenter.
Speaking on Heart FM, she said: "I did fancy him. I asked him out and he sort of said, "No". I gave him my big eyes and tried to charm him and it didn't work.
"He said: "I don't like short girls". Imagine what our babies would have been like."
Geri also said that she always supported her girlfriends and felt protective over them.
The former pop star revealed recently that she will no longer be pursuing a career in the music industry and has turned her hand to children's books.
