She may be one of the most beautiful and elegant actresses in Hollywood, but Julia Roberts has revealed that she does not use deodorant.
The 40-year-old Pretty Woman star appeared on American chat show queen Oprah Winfrey's Earth Day show in order to talk about green issues.
To prove just how environmentally-friendly she is, Julia confessed that she does not even use deodorant, preferring to use old-fashioned soap and water to stay fresh.
"I don't actually use deodorant," she told Oprah.
"I don't like to share that with a lot of people, but it's just never been my thing."
The red-headed star caused a previous armpit uproar in 1999 when she turned up to the UK premiere of her romantic comedy Notting Hill with unshaved underarms.
Fans were shocked to see Julia's hairy armpits poking out from her sleeveless sequinned dress when she raised her hand to wave.
However Julia said that the reaction was exaggerated.
She commented: "You'd think it was like I had a chinchilla under there, the way the world responded."
