Heather Mills has revealed that she has already spent most of the whopping £24.3 million divorce settlement she received from Sir Paul McCartney - but not on herself.

In her first interview since the very public settlement in March, Heather told Hello! magazine: "A lot of it has gone to charity and I kept some to invest in projects and causes that will make this world a better place."

The 40-year-old model and charity campaigner also said that she had no hard feelings towards her ex-husband's millionaire new girlfriend, Nancy Shevell, saying that she was sure she is lovely.

She said: "Whoever comes into either of our lives is going to be very nice, and a long as Beatrice [Heather and Paul's daughter] is happy, that's all that matters."

But Heather did say that she was still annoyed at the "ridiculous" claims made by the British press.

Describing the past few months as being "very, very difficult", Heather said that she had been forced to flee to America.

Quaid attacks Meg for marriage talk

Meg Ryan's ex-husband Dennis Quaid has publicly attacked her for speaking out about their marriage problems.

The Hollywood stars were married for ten years but they eventually split in 2001 amidst widespread rumours that Meg's relationship with Russell Crowe was responsible for the separation.

Hollywood actress Scarlett Johansson has married her fiance Ryan Reynolds in an unusually low-key ceremony.

Lindsay Lohan has criticised her father Michael for taking a swipe at her girlfriend Samantha Ronson.
