Eva Mendes has confessed that she is fed up of being constantly compared to her fellow Latino Hollywood actress Jennifer Lopez, claiming that she is much more serious about her art.
The 34-year-old stunner has appeared in critically acclaimed films such as Training Day, Once Upon a Time in Mexico and We Own the Night.
She says that she hates it when people compare her to J-Lo because she is just as famous for her pop career and her fashion and fragrance businesses as her movies.
"I would like to think I will have a more serious career than J-Lo. We may both be of Latin origin but that's where the comparisons stop," Eva said.
"She manages her career like the head of a big corporation, whereas the only thing I care about is becoming the best actress possible."
